TECHNICIANS

Steven Royer

Steven Royer is the Lead Technician at All American Heating and Air, taking charge of all technicians on staff. A recipient of a Certificate in Heating and Air from Midlands Technical College, Steven is also NATE Certified, EPA Certified, Forklift Certified and competent in First Aid and CPR. Steven manages the company safety program, and conducts staff training as needed.

Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Steven is Gene Royer’s nephew. A jack of all trades, Steven will work in whatever capacity he’s needed, including service, installations and any other task that requires another pair of hands.

His favorite hobby is riding his 2004 Harley-Davidson, especially in the mountains of North Carolina. Steven is married with three children, two boys and a girl.  

Roy Cunningham

Roy Cunningham fills the post of Service Manager at All American Heating and Air. With over eleven years of company service, Roy works as an all around problem solver.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Roy served in the Navy Reserves from 1958 – 1960 and was Active Duty from 1960 – 1963. He served on the USS Constellation and the USS Saratoga.

His entrance into the heating and air business came in 1980, when he attended school with company president, Gene Royer. Roy spent 28 years with Delta Airlines, primarily at the airline’s hub in Atlanta, Georgia. During his last four years with Delta, he ran a heating and air business as a sideline and knew he’d like to retire doing this type of work.

He joined Gene in Columbia in 1998 and has the following related certifications: attended Midlands Technical College, Atlanta Technical College, EPA Certification, Forklift Certified, CPR and First Aid.

A true biker, Roy enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson Deuce to events at Myrtle Beach and Daytona whenever time allows. Married since 1960 to his lovely wife, Lee, they have three children, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Scott Williams

Scott Williams is one of the skilled Technicians at All American Heating and Air. During the almost three years that Scott has worked for the company, he has proven himself to be trustworthy and hardworking. Scott is EPA Certified, and is also Certified for 410-A by Carrier for Heat Pumps and Gas Furnaces.

Originally from Maryland, his father was in the military, so he has lived in several far away places, including Maine and Alaska.

Scott is a good fit with the rest of the company’s staff, since he shares their love of motorcycle riding.  

Rusty Kelley

Rusty Kelley moved to the Columbia area in 1992 and started his career in HVAC with All American Heating and Air. He explored other opportunities with heating and air and returned to his roots at All American Heating and Air in 2009.

After working in the field for 14 years, Rusty has obtained the following specialized training and designations: EPA Certification, NATE Certification (North American Technical Excellence), ICE (International Competency Exam), an Associate Degree in Heating, Air and Refrigeration.

Rusty really appreciates working in heating and air, and feels lucky to be someone who loves his job.  “No one thinks much about heating or air conditioning until it is not available. It is so great to see the faces light up when I get their critical systems working again.”

A man of faith, Rusty strives to perform his tasks with integrity. His goal is to always put the best interests of the customer first. As an extended member of the Royer family, Rusty appreciates Gene and the flexibility he gives his staff to help customers. For example, if a customer would rather fix an older unit instead of replacing it, he is happy to make the repair.

Jeff Royer

Jeff Royer is a Technician with All American Heating and Air. If you have a service agreement with All American, you may encounter Jeff as he works in that area. After ten years of service with All American, Jeff is now a Technician in Training. He attended Midlands Technical College and completed the year long HVAC Certification Program to further his education and knowledge.

Jeff has attained his EPA Certification, which means that he has had specialized training in the areas of refrigerant reclamation to prevent ozone depletion.

A member of the Royer family, Jeff moved to Columbia from Augusta, Georgia to work with his Uncle Gene. In his spare time, Jeff really enjoys dirt bikes, all terrain vehicles and motorcycles. He also plays centerfield on a local softball team.

Jeff is married with one child.

INSTALLERS

Bobby Moore

Bobby Moore, Head Installer with All American Heating and Air, has worked for the company since his teen years. He began by participating in the cooperative work study program at Lexington High School and ultimately received a Certificate in Heating and Air from the Lexington Technology Center.

Moving fast is his passion, so naturally racing and bikes are his favorite activities. Like several other team members, Bobby also has a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. “Basically, anything with a motor that goes fast is good with me,” says Bobby.

An avid fan of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, he attends as many games as possible and enjoys tailgating with friends and family.

Joshua Royer

Joshua Royer is a multi-talented individual who fulfills the roles of Installer, Lead Duct Cleaner and Attic Insulation Manager. Following in the footsteps of his father, Gene, Josh has worked at All American Heating and Air for six years. He has attained the EPA Certification and is Forklift Certified. He is currently following a program of study at Midlands Technical College for heating and air certification.

Joshua and his wife Jennie Ann Royer are the proud parents of a son, Colten Alexander Royer. The Royers own Creekside Stables in Chapin.

In his down time, Joshua enjoys riding motorcycles and ATVs, fishing for catfish, bass and striper and hunting whitetail deer with his Remington .30 – 06.

Troy Lawhorn

Troy Lawhorn, Installer, is one of the valued team members at All American Heating and Air. During his five year tenure, he’s achieved the following certifications: EPA Certified, Forklift Certified.

A Gilbert native, Troy previously ran a home improvement business before joining the company. “I enjoy my job because I really like to meet new people,” says Troy. “Every day is a different adventure!”

A man with diverse interests, he enjoys hunting (deer, doves, ducks, turkeys and even bear!), fishing, riding motorcycles, gun collecting, camping, collecting Indian arrowheads, white water rafting, taking Caribbean cruises and playing pool. He is the father of one child.

Jonathan Stockton

Jonathan Stockton has been a part of the All American Heating and Air family for many years His late father worked here as a technician in the early years of the company. As an installer, Jonathan is a critical member of the team.

He chose the field of heating and air as his profession, just as his father did over thirty years ago. A native of Lexington, South Carolina, Jonathan married his sweetheart, Kristen in May, 2009. An avid sports fan, he follows the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team, where David Beckham has crossed the pond to star in the United States soccer world.

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Linda Royer

As Office Manager for All American Heating and Air, Linda Royer makes sure that everyone’s needs are met, from customers to personnel. With more than 25 years of experience at a leading financial institution, her professionalism is unmatched.

Linda holds a Certificate in Secretarial Business and is the mother of technicians Steven and Jeff Royer. She’s worked with All American Heating and Air for four years.

Bobbi Kowalewski

Bobbi Kowalewski is Gene Royer’s daughter and works as an administrative assistant and dispatcher for All American Heating and Air. Bobbi attended Midlands Technical College and the University of South Carolina and has worked at the company for over nine years. She is proud to help support the family business. She and her husband Mike have a two year old daughter that is very active. Bobbi takes her horseback riding, to dance lessons and is teaching her a variety of craft projects.  

Angie Porth Flake

Angie is the Executive Assistant to Debbie Royer. She assists with billing and accounting procedures, as well as provides administrative support for Debbie.  A member of the family, Angie is Debbie's niece. A mother of four, she is expecting her fifth child early next year.
